Good location if flying from LBA. Good service (Denise J especially!). Food okay. Could have been more scampi. Cutlery on the table was dirty but swapped it and ok. Would come again if flying from LBA.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a midday meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The farm-fresh ingredients elevated the flavors of each dish, and the presentation was top-notch. Maybe I am a bit harsh, but right from the being shown to our seats, with a wave of the hand "cutlery is in the container, menus are on the table, there's a 45 minute wait for the kitchen, order at the bar, carvery is quiet". Then have to queue to order, then after queuing to be told there is no fish and have to go back to the table as most had wanted fish, to then have to stand in the queue again. When the food arrived it was reheated, mass produced meals. Definitely one of the worst dining experiences in recent years. Only redemption was the companions we went with and relatively inexpensive.

Went on Sunday to this restaurant we have been many times before I booked on line one of the questions was where to sit I requested booth seat. Opposite the bar Got e Mail to say table Booked as requested. When we got there we said table had been booked and a bench seat. Told we couldn’t have this We got there at the time we stated. Three of the booth seats were empty only one with a couple We were shown to a seat for two squashed in I said again a booth seat had been booked. The lady on till said we couldn’t have it The place when we arrived wasn’t all that busy and when we left after our meal still a booth empty What is the point in asking where we wanted to sit when booking made .Staff here use to be so good but now takes all their time to speak. Now this is not them all some are really nice.
