Wow what a fabulous Haddock and Chips. We are not from the area but a friend had heard of the chippy and wanted to give it a try. It’s obvious from the outside this is no ordinary chip shop with a takeaway section and a separate licensed restaurant with a full bar. Booked for Friday lunch seated promptly ordered a three course prawn cocktail to start fish chips & mucky peas then one had crumble one had cheesecake, it was amazing Friday fish day best place to go. The ambiance service our waitress Tina went over and beyond. A great way spend on a Friday lunch time 5*. Will be back as usual. Great staff all round.

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Plus, not only were the portions extremely generous (bigger than we have ever seen!) but the flavour was fantastic and the prices were more than fair!!
