Food & drinks: Went for lunch for Mother’s Day today with the family, 8 adults and 3 children. The place was busy and nicely decorated with balloons. Most of us had the traditional Sunday lunch which was beautiful a choice of beef, pork or chicken. The portions are very generous and the food so tasty like home made. One of the orders was a chilli jam burger which looked and tasted amazing and one of the party had the fish pie which was enjoyed. Very reasonably priced and fantastic staff, always a smile no matter how busy they were. The landlady was so accommodating when One of the children ordered her ice cream and requested chocolate topping, which she made sure she got. Would highly recommend this pub for its food and excellent service, we will be going back soon!!

Had booked a table for early Sunday evening on the day the snow arrived, we were staying at the premier inn and the white swan is a 5min walk away. We had a lovely welcome and was shown to our table what a difference seeing a pub and restaurant fully staffed with everyone doing a great job which creates a nice atmosphere. They had a smaller menu on for a Sunday but plenty to choose from i had the roast and my wife had the swan burger both were cooked fresh to order and were very nice indeed and at a fair price. If your staying at the premier inn skip the beefeater and get down to the White Swan.

The white swan is an absolute amazing place to stay. We have stayed there 3 times now and every time it has been wonderful. You get tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, a bottle of water and even biscuits. Plus complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste which we have never, ever had anywhere before. The food in the restaurant is beyond amazing, the chef is a miracle worker. We recommend the homemade onion rings. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If we are up in Yeadon again we will definitely be staying there again

We stayed for one night during the cold snap in early December! A nice welcome from the girls behind the bar, who explained everything to us,and even showed us to our room ( something that is quite rare nowadays) The room was adequate, although the tv didn’t work, but the cheerful girl behind the bar managed to eventually sort it for us! It was also a nice touch to have a couple of Christmas scatter cushions on the beds! We didn’t eat at the hotel, but we did have a couple of drinks in the cosy bar, which was also nicely decorated for Christmas! We would definitely stay again before an early morning flight.

I came to this pub for the first time ever to meet two work colleagues on Thursday- we had lunch and coffees... by Thursday evening I was booking Saturday night for my family! What a lovely experience - the lady serving us couldn't do enough; the food was DELICIOUS and fresh, the decor was modern but cosy and the toilets were super-clean!! Saturday night lived up to Thursday's expectations - my husband and daughter loved it too! I couldn't finish the gigantic portion but can highly recommend the chicken burger! This truly is the best value for money I have seen in a very long time. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere that evening with a celebration party going on in the back room and giant plates of food coming out of the kitchen every 5 minutes. This place was definitely worth the 30 minute drive for us and we will be back very soon! ?

This is a wonderful place to stay. The room we had was great, there was everything that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was lovely. We had food in the pub, which I have to say was fantastic. Next time we go up to Yeadon (which will be in a few weeks), we will definitely be staying there again.
