We absolutely loved our 2 night stay here this week. Such a beautiful, cosy hotel; amazing staff who are all so friendly and fabulous food - breakfast was so good and dinner was amazing! Our room was really elegant and the bed was so comfortable. Up there as one of my favourite hotel stays!!

We loved our stay here and were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the food. It’s a great get away but close enough to walk into Bradford upon Avon too. Quirky but friendly and welcoming foremost.

Quaint small boutique hotel a mile outside Bradford on Avon. Charming staff, clean large rooms in good repair and an excellent breakfast. The bar focuses on gin and must have every sort available. Beers offered are bottled and better value than spirits with a nice selection. There is a very attractive pool, around 20m, for a swim. The town centre is walkable on the canal tow path in 30 mins. Look out for the Tythe Barn which is free to look around.

Quirky hotel in beautiful gardens. Stayed one night. Large room in garden with very large comfortable bed. Hotel theme is shabby chic and room lived up to it. Hot water tap in whb only trickled water and kept moving when turned on. Good shower though. Staff friendly and service good. The gin bar was excellent with an extensive range of g&ts to die for. Dinner was a good standard but breakfast dissapointing. Public rooms in main house are quirky warm and a great location for an aperitif or night cap. The hotel is excellent value for money (we were on a deal) in a great location for Bradford on Avon and Bath. Would definetly return.

The Widbrook is very dog friendly our dog received a welcome pack on arrival, there was a dog bed in the room. The staff are friendly and very efficient will definitely stay there again. Gluten free options on the menu, and even our dog got a sausage for breakfast

I started staying here in September, then booked again recently (I'm in the area ~10 nights per month with work). It's a beautiful place and I thoroughly enjoyed my first stay. However, when booking with a 3rd party provider, the booking failed. I booked elsewhere (reluctantly) and was surprised to see Widbrook has charged my cards several hundred pounds. I contacted them to explain the circumstances and got a pleasant response, which was quickly overruled by the office manager. She asked me to evidence a failure of the 3rd party system, to which I returned 'non-booked' emails and an empty itinerary. This provider clear evidence of the issue but they still only offer a partial refund. Whilst this is technically the fault of the third party provider, Widbrook are only too happy to hold onto my money, even when I've demonstrated it's not my fault - more so after a lengthy email run around. As I'd booked alternative accommodation, I had no way of quickly turning my plans around and returning to Widbrook. A huge shame as this was such a pleasant place - but I prefer to stay places where you're valued as a customer. I need to find somewhere new for a temporary home over the next 6 months!

A quirky, characterful hotel set in attractive grounds. Comfortable and warm rooms with comfy beds. Very dog friendly, allowing them in all parts of the hotel except the dining room, although you can eat with your dog in the conservatory which is also very pleasant. Cosy bar and lounge areas and excellent service from the very friendly staff. The menu was fairly limited, but we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent meal (lamb rump recommended). Excellent breakfast too. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We chose this as its dog friendly and it certainly was. We had a great room, there is a special dining room so you can eat with your dog, we didn’t and the normal restaurant was great, especially after have a pre dinner drink of their special gins. Di. Er and breakfast were surprisingly good

The check-in area was devoid of staff, so helped myself to envelope with key and used the map to find the room. The hotel is shabby chic but where to draw the line? The staff were very attentive. The complementary G and T's were excellent. The towels were fluffy but not changed so we were greeted with wet, but nicely folded towels on day two. I've NEVER had this, anywhere. Breakfast was showcasing local produce but as everything, including "grilled" bacon appeared to be deep-fried, and a uniform brown, and ruined, the benefits were wasted. My poached egg was only partially reheated. Biscuits in room on day two not provided. There is a gap at the bottom edge of the ill-fitting bathroom door an inch wide so no privacy there. All paintwork chipped, bathroom floor cracked, bed was comfortable though. Evening meals were good, the lamb rump meal was one of the best I've had. Poached eggs on day two reeked and tasted very strongly of vinegar, overpowering the eggs. Coffee cafetiere plunged too quickly by server so like water, its speedy replacement was like mud. Parking was ample, gardens spacious, "Putting the tin lid on it" We were over- charged on bill by £11.50, apparently my GF and I were charged for three burgers rather than two.

5 stars is not enough! The best venue for the most amazing day! If you are looking for an intimate wedding, in beautiful grounds, this place is the one. The staff are fabulous, could not do enough for us and managed to herd all our Northern guests ? Big shout out to Claire, the best wedding organiser!! Food was out of this world, everyone catered for. From start to finish, the best day EVER!! Thank you so much Widbrook Grange. Lots of Love Collette & Ian

We had a fab 2 night stay, all the staff were friendly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had afternoon tea which was pleasant. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was amazing especially the beef and lamb definitely one of the best for food. Breakfast was great too. Our double room was rustic but clean and bright, good for a short break some bits may be due a make over but would be happy to stay again. We walked into Bradford on Avon along the canal and there is a marina and pub just across the road. One thing to note was that I sent a couple of enquiry emails and tried to call without any reply, which could give a negative view for potential bookers.
