Lovely cafe right on the canal, good selection of sandwiches we had toasted ham cheese and chutney, and the Brie ones with coleslaw and salad which were delicious staff very friendly cakes looked good too

This cafe, run by the mozt cheery bunch of volinteers, offers homemade cakes, patisserie, and other delicious snacks at very teadonable prices in the most convivial atmosphere. Whatever the weather you can enjoy the food and the boats , and boatpeople on the canal . You can also go on a trip down the Canal, or hire a rowboat. A most enjoyable experience in any weather or time of year.

Beautiful place,great cafe amazing breakfast and coffee,lovely friendly service.cafe right by lock gates can watch all boats through lock wonderful.cafe great for food and drinks.toilets allso available by cafe,parking just off canal very handy as mobility big issue, absolutely loved our day out,had full English in cafe it was amazing great quality food used,what could be better sat by lock on a busy canal eating your breakfast on a gloriously sunny warm day,will defo go back...read full review
