We stopped for food during a canal walk. We chose a toasted wrap and a toasted panini and had half each of both. The fillings were generous and served with couscous salad, coleslaw and leaves. Absolutely delicious and plentiful. The array of cakes gave a very attractive display so we chose a large slice of avocado and lemon which was boxed up for us to enjoy later. The dog enjoyed her ice cream and the staff made a fuss of her. Excellent.

Great gluten free selection. Is rare for gluten free cakes to have icing and not just standard brownie or flapjack

Visited after a wonderful bike ride, tried the pub without realising it was cash only, so went over to the cafe! It was about 2.30pm, so choices were minimal. I had 2 sandwiches and 2 cold drinks £18!!!!! I really wish I had taken my sandwich back after the first bite, but didn’t, it was dry and chewy!! I then had terrible stomach ache for the rest of the day! It really was a disappointing end to a wonderful day.

Cyclists, walkers and boaters are spoilt for choice at the picturesque Avoncliff aquaduct, where the canal and the river meet. The Cross Guns pub directly across the canal from No.10 certainly has the history and the riverside location, but unless you just want a cold beer or whatever, I would not recommend this pub for food. I would however recommend No. 10 for all its food, but mostly its superb cakes. It has a huge selection that offers the traditional (Victoria sponge) and the slightly out-there (avocado cake - delish by the way). I had the ginger cake and a pot of Earl Grey coming back from a cycle the other day. I almost cried as it was just like my mum used to make it. The sandwiches are also extremely nice, interesting and generous. It's not cheap - where is these days? - but No. 10 is well worth a pitstop. In fact I'm not the only Bradfordian I know who walks or cycles down to Avoncliff specifically for the cakes! A real addition to our local food scene for locals and visitors alike.

Eye popping selection of beautiful home made cakes, very kind , friendly caring staff. Cannot thank enough the empathetic staff member who showed true consideration for an anxious customer. The location, quality food and service are definatly planning to visit as a destination.

Lovely little place alongside the canal, perfect to stop for a cuppa. Only open 4 days a week however has the most scrumptious display of cakes to choose from. Well worth a visit. The only downside though is the amount of wasps in the garden which is an absolute nightmare when having a cream tea as they descend and it’s impossible to leave the open pot of jam out. They really need to put out wasp traps to try and help with us as I would but recommend getting a cream tea for this reason. It is all outside seating too.

Set beside a beautifully engineered aqueduct above the river Avon. This tea room had the most delicious looking cakes on display. If we weren't going for a Sunday roast, I would have had the lot. We just had a coffee, which was nice and sat outside in their outdoor seating area. The only problem I could see was there was only 1 toilet outside anyway and there was a que but apart from that a beautiful place to stop for a cuppa.

Had a couple of lovely simple lunches at No 10 Tea Garden during a recent holiday in the area. Pleasant walks along the canal and handy pit stop at No 10. The selection of cakes and homemade style sandwiches etc was impressive. We had a number different items and all were really tasty and good value. Coffee is pretty decent also. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

We hired a boat and moored up at this lovely cafe. Was such a nice spread of sandwiches and cakes, it made it very difficult to choose! The Latte was amazing, good choice of cold drinks too. All outdoor seating, so thankfully the weather was nice. Dog friendly, and a place to attach your dog lead to each picnic bench which was a great touch. Definitely would come back again!

The pork and apple sausage roll was honestly the tastiest I've ever had. I had to go back afterwards and buy some to take away.

Fantastic coffee shop and tea room with huge selection of cakes, snacks and sandwiches. I had cream tea and sausage roll which were excellent. Will definitely be going here again.

Stopped here on a bicycle ride along the canal path. Great location. Really friendly and helpful staff. Just stopped for a cup of coffee but ended up having home made sausage rolls for lunch and homemade cake. Huge portions, exquisite tasting and great coffee and after a 10 mile bike ride no guilt!!

Really nice cafe situated right on the aqueduct at Avoncliff. All be it a little pricy, the service was quick and the staff were lovely.A great selection of food and drinks too, and some seriously lush cakes. Yummy. My friend enjoyed his Macciato, even if he clearly had no idea what he was ordering. The garden was spacious and protected from the wind really well.Overall, a smashing little spot to relax.Vegetarian options: A good range of vegan foods. Gluten free and other dietary requirements were catered for.Parking: Seriously limited to about 10 cars. £4.50 for the day. Get there early.Dietary restrictions: A good range of dietary requirements were catered for.

If you are out for a walk along the canal this place is a must. The food is perhaps not the cheapest but it's excellent quality and there is a nice selection plus it is all presented with care from the welcoming and helpful staff. They are able to cater for for people with food intolerance and have plenty of knowledge on their products should you need to know. There is a large outside seating area and a section under cover for those wetter days.
