What a fantastic find. Excellent food, good beers, and warm welcome. Everything an English inn should be.

SUNDAY LUNCHFood is plentiful... Beef cooked to perfection (for me ... I like it pink) veg is very al-dente if you like it like that although a little fresh (ie needs seasoning... salt/pepper) Veg is served on plate so if there is something you don't like or want then tough! Would be better served separately so you have a choice... excellent service. Very quick from order to table... very good value for money... seeing owners sat having their dinner when a queue at bar made a few eyebrows raised but didn't have to wait too long to be served.. A few tweaks and could be quite a little gem x

The quality of the food was amazing. Top-notch! I had roast duck which was cooked to perfection. Almost melted in my mouth! The pub is not huge and we were part of a big group, so we were very tightly packed in, but considering it was a Saturday night And there were about 20 of us. The service was pretty good. I would definitely like to try this again.
