Reviews for The White Hart
We visited The White Hart to see if we could spot the rude lady. Our party of two were unanimous in who we thought it was. However, the gentleman that served us was pleasant and helpful. For that reason, I see no issue in awarding five stars.
We had a nice Sunday lunch here during a visit to Castle Combe. The seating is comfy, the bar area was warm and cosy, and the food was delicious and delivered promptly after ordering even though we arrived right after the pub opened. Wadsworth pubs always have great beer on tap and this was no exception. A great spot to fill up after a countryside walk. I haven't reviewed the rooms because we didn't stay!

Accidentally found our way here, having booked accommodations at a different location and confusing the name.The bartender didn't offer us a drink, but she did point us in the right direction and let us know we weren't the first to make the mistake. I also overheard her whispering words of encouragement under her breath while we figured out directions using Google Maps.I'm not sure I'll be back, but it was a charming village.
