We visit often probably 2-3 times aweek but yesterday and again today service was really poor, yesterday took over 30 minutes to get a bacon egg and mushroom bap and bacon sandwich, on arrival bacon in sandwich was barely warm but so dry it was inedible returned and had a replacement next one was slightly better but didn’t eat as was put off by the time it arrived, today we visited had a bacon and cheese potato skins, arrived at table and were cold and looked very unappetising my daughter ordered a vegetarian breakfast and once she started eating found 3 long hairs mixed in with her hash browns and beans the cook was a young man with long hair draped over his face, no hair net gloves etc my daughter requested a refund which was granted but staff seemed unfazed about the complaint. For the overall cost it’s pretty poor service etc .maybe some extra food hygiene training would be an idea and improvement on ppe also some temperature control would be good.

1st March 24. I was extremely impressed today with the service given to all customers, but particularly the compassion given to an elderly gentleman who needed extra care. Well done to the staff?

Went to Chippenham 11/11/23 and had a coffee and cheese and onion half jacket potato. There were 3 young girls and a boy but they weren't interested in the customers they were chatting away . Wanted a toastie but couldn't as they said the ovens were turned off. Not a nice experience.

Wait in the line to order (10 minutes) should have been the tip off that this was a bad idea from the beginning. Drinks were immediate however food was a 40-50 minute wait - the gluten free order in our group was 10 minutes later than the rest of the food. Atmosphere was fine but the food certainly wasn’t worth the price nor the wait (especially considering the large amount of staff).

Overcooked eggs like rubber, undercooked bacon, sausages our dog enjoyed them. Coffee not included. Very expensive for a terrible breakfast. Good comfortable chairs.

The abundance of young people milling about behind the counter does nothing to improve the quality or speed of service here. Both speed and good service are lacking here.Sunday morning and it's very quiet, plenty of seating available and in quite a nice setting although it is open to the shopping centre. The latte was not particularly good being made by a girl busy chatting to her colleague while you stand and wait.Service is minimal and robotic, delivered by people who clearly don't care.Breakfast was reasonably quick, but as the place was so quiet, that was to be expected.Maybe taking a little longer and cooking the bacon more and not pouring the beans over the top of the breakfast would have been better. The place seems to lack adult supervision and oversight. The quietness attracted me, and Boswells is reasonably good value ?However, I was left wishing I had gone to Rivo, where I would have paid a little more but would have received better service and a nicer breakfast ?Boswells has a great location and offer here but needs to up their game.Overall disappointed and probably will remember not to return for a while

Food is somewhat OK. Although £4.50+ for a brie and bacon toastie for it to come looking like it had one piece of bacon chopped tiny to cover the whole thing was quite diabolical for the price! Smoothie was delightful! But also £4.50+! However, my reason for the review was the very obvious lack of gloves during food handling. Whilst at the till to pay for my order I witnessed staff handle the exchange of cash form money and then proceed to stuff a baguette with cheese with bare hands. The germ spreading alone is very off putting. Not server had gloves of any form, not for food handling, not for making the salads where they again bare handedly touched everything on your plate. Salad bar area also looked lacking in freshness, everything was dry looking and wilted, where i can only assume its been sat for just a touch to long. Shame, very good location, staff generally OK, food handling and such is the dropping point. Very borderline average for quick hunger fixes.

The staff at Boswells really care about their customers, a customer just before me in the cue was struggling with carrying their drink and walking to a seat so one of staff offered to help and because they have plenty of staff on it didn't slow down the cue at really.Wheelchair accessibility: I went with my Grandad and he usus a mobility scooter so yeah he was able to get around easily.
