We had a very expensive, compleatly tastles, bitter coffee at Costa. We wanted a full English breakfast, but no chance as everywhere but Greggs and Costa was closed! At Costa I looked at the birch smoked maple baccon sandwiches, E numbers out of hell for £6, and whats wrong with normal English baccon?

This moto is a dirty disgusting hovel. It used to be a nice stop for toilet break and food. All i see now is filthy tables and floors. Dropped food every single takeaway site. Half the drink on Burger King were not available and the dude serving us really didn't give a chuff. The toilets had toilet roll all over the floor where the washbasins were and around the toilet bases. The place is a low-class run-down yawn. Give it a miss and go on to the next one. Wipe your feet on the way out.

Once the lavatorial duties were seen to, I wanted to get a little something to eat. The pasty place at the front was shut and Gregg's had already sold all the good stuff. Marks and Spencer’s had some scotch eggs but all the checkout machines were card only. I waited a while at the proper tills to pay cash but nobody came to serve me so I left my lunch on the counter and walked away. M&S lost out and so did I. They need to get their act together.

Called into Costa facility for an early morning break, 03:30 (coffee and a snack) very quiet. There was a solo Costa attendant behing the counter, Female, mid 50's, foreign, and we could see by her face she was not going to be gracious. We were dead right. Never have I been treated and spoken to by an memployee in the manner that that followed, in my life She was downright rude, sullen, miserable as sin, argumentative, flinging her arms around gesticulating, and being completely arrogant and unprofessional. Face like thunder. All because: my husband had to find a seat in a area that been blocked off by chairs. In fact, every Costa seating area here had been blocked the same way. The attendedant came over and mouthed off ' it is blocked off, my colleague has done this for the next day'. I looked at her and said ' excuse me, it is the next' day, she didnt't like it one bit, face like thunder, she hurredly went away. I was absoliutely incensed. Didn't end there On our way out, I asked her why was everyting blocked off for use, she retorted 'You've had your coffee, go away' and she angrily and hurredly went to the side of one of the counters into a backstaff room. There was another customer there who had to sit on the floor. This emplyee is an absolute disgrace to the company and should not be allowed to get away with such appalling behaviour. I antend to copy this to Costa management for comment and response. DISGUSTIING BEHAVIOUR. AVOID. I notice this isn't the first time either from other reviews.

Costa staff in this service station so rude.Two staff male and female at 08.30 am having a loud private conversation ignoring the customer.Asked 3 times for hot milk on the side and got presented with 4 litre bottle of milk semi skimmed then the whole milk bottle and then asked well what do you want. Won't be back should train your staff in customer service

They don’t clean the tables. The food is bad and I feel like they just microwave the food since it’s so hot.

Our lorry drivers have been pulling in to refuel and get refreshments. The ANPR picks them up going in but not leaving. We currently have two fines for over staying the 2 hours and yet our trackers show 15 mins. To defend this costs time and money. Our appeal has been ignored and the fine increased!! The admin is endless. What about those drivers who don't have trackers. How do you defend yourself? STAY AWAY

Kfc had no gravy. Popcorn chicken was solid, chips were cold. Very disappointing. By far the worst kfc I have ever had, as a staple dish, you would’ve thought they would have gravy, but they didn’t. Ruined my day.

Just a quick comment about the GridServe set up for non-Tesla cars. Whilst it’s a great service for both Tesla and non-Tesla - and I do mean great - Tesla are not in the majority anymore. Please would you consider another row or 2 of non-Tesla EV charging points. Loved the experience. Thank you.

Greggs - what a waste of space. had a 93 year old with me who wanted a cup of tea but was advised no tea bags !!!! really. There was also no sausage rolls or baked slices... in fact no hot food at all. 1 pack of sandwiches. For a lunch time trade this was really not acceptable, the one poor girl working on her own was very professional . Come on Greggs get your act together. The facilities where all good and clean.

Needed to go to toilet on the way to wales,so we stopped over at the service station as Leigh delamare was the nearest one.We had been travelling for about an hour and a half and still had 2 hours to go so decided to call it a break there.However this service station experience was so outstanding I decided to take it to tripadvisor,I love this as it is very safe with a pavment and also there are now a huge bank of chargers as they still have them by the Burger King drive thru but they’ve put a lot more including a whole new bank of Tesla chargers and that is what you want in a service station so charging was not a problem atal in the slightest.Also I love the service station itself as well,very very modern and has been refurbished scince I last went years ago.The toilets were exceptional,extremley clean,well kept and palatial,the toilets are just what you need in a service station.Also there are multiple brands as well including Burger King,kfc(brand new) and 4 costas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They have a takeaway Costa at the enterance,a palatial Costa restaurant(the biggest Costa I’ve ever seen),2 Costa express machines outside WH Smith’s and 3 inside WH Smith’s.So it must be paradise if you like Costa and the costa was the biggest Costa I’ve seen and also the cleanest.Also the kfc was extremely clean too,also never seen such a big and clean kfc ever.Also there was a Burger King as well which was heavily advertised ,the cleanest Burger King ever and very big.Also restaurants were not too busy either bearing in mind the service station was so busy,kfc absolutely no-one,Burger King hardly anyone and in Costa hardly anyone however when I went out it was quite busy.Also there is a chow and a west cormwall pasty too.I also liked the independent shops as well,it’s such a nice idea especially in a major service station.They will always attract customers.Went in the shops and they were both lovely.Also the WH Smith’s were amazing,very well stocked,extremely clean and airy,plenty of books/food/drink.I also loved the little touches such as the soft play area,the meeting booth,the amusements for kids and the massage chairs.Everything and everything a service station should be,can’t wait to be back
