“This is a reasonable good place to stay. Brilliant breakfast. Dinner was not that great. Friendly service but there is noone to help you with an issue between 23.00 and 07.00. Emergency number is not staffed”

“I walked across the fields from Hullavington to here on my own and it was well worth it. The landlady and all the staff were really welcoming and friendly, and the fish and chips were delicious- a very generous portion, chips crispy and fish batter tasty and not soggy. The interior feels very comfy and i spotted a wood burner - I'd like to return in the Autumn/Winter (if not before!).”

“We found The Rose and Crown accidently when we were goggling somewhere for Sunday lunch whilst visiting on holiday. And... we are so glad we did. This place is a REAL JEM. From the moment you walk in, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the pub is lovely inside. The Sunday roast... Wow! Neither me or my husband have enjoyed a roast out as much as this, beautifully presented with mouth watering meat, crispy roast potatoes, lovely selection of veg and the best Yorkshire pudding. We added pigs in blankets too, because why not! We finished this off with delicious deserts. And it goes without saying enjoyed a tipple too. What a fabulous place, we cannot recommend it highly enough and it will definitely be our go to place when we come back for another visit.”

“We had a pre booked table for two. We both went for the Sunday roast which was very nice. The beef was probably the best I have had for a Sunday lunch in a pub/restaurant as it was perfectly cooked and so tender. The vegetables were plentiful and very nice too, we will 100% return on Sunday soon.”
