We had Sunday lunch at the White Horse. The pub is lovely as are the staff. The vegetarian nut loaf was fantastic, probably as the chef is a vegetarian. Plus I had the lamb which was beautifully soft and suckulent. The veggies were great. Perfect roasties.Topped of with fantastic desserts. Really recommend it as a great place for a Sunday roast.Vegetarian options: The nut loaf was fantastic.
Our first visit to our 'local' since the new owners have been in charge. My fish and chips were exceptional. The batter was crisp and light and good potatoes wedges making a change from chips. All homemade as was the tartar sauce. My husband had the Hunters chicken, again, homemade tender and delicious. We look forward to more meals and wish them the very best of luck in their new venture.

Went back for lunch today (Sat). The food was Amazing. Scampi, chips and peas, brownie & chocolate sauce. My husband had beef casserole and fresh veg and bread followed by cherry and almond tart with cherry sauce.
