We are lucky in Salisbury that we have several very good Thai restaurants. So far this is the best of a very good bunch. Thought the food quality and the value for money were extremely good. Crispy Duck in honey starter was the standout - its not like Chinese crispy duck (pancakes etc) but comes in slices.
We spent the day in Salisbury having got the train in for a change of scenery. I looked at restaurants before we went at booked the Thai orchid for 6pm before outlets train home. We had mixed starters, satay, toasts, spring rolls and money bags, all were lovely(money bags weren’t my favourite). I had a prawn Penang curry which was gorgeous and my husband had some sort of sweet and sour chicken which he devoured. Good service and great food which was very reasonably priced. Whilst many Thai restaurants carve beautiful flowers from fruit and vegetables the carved bird was particularly lovely.
