We just don't know what's wrong with this place now - but I suspect it's the staff now. Our past 3 visits (over a period of nearly a year) have all been disappointingly bad and very much the same: they haven't got what you initially ask for, they then don't have the bits to complete your second choice drink (no cream or toppings, etc.), and you also feel like your bothering or interrupting the girls serving during they're very important conversations. Of course, no soap in the (dirty) toilets either...We'll be avoiding it from now on - I recommend others do too.

Went in yesterday for coffee and was told they had none and weren't able to offer any hot drinks except tea, the tables were cluttered and dirty and I had to ask for sugars. Everything seemed to be extra for them to do.

Being run by 2 youngsters , asked if we wanted our coffees strong or smooth , didn't mention that it was an extra 30p each for these choices. I thought it was a basic choice for the coffees we were buying , really sneaky way of making extra money as not explained at all , well for 60p extra you've lost 2 potential future customers. When i realised and mentioned what she did when we both left all i got was a "Whatever". An ongoing trend which takes humanity and joy out of what should be a pleasurable experience.

Got there around 0900hrs....was empty.....ordered my coffee and a sandwich....coffee was the best I'd had for a long time....service was with a smile and quite attractive too.

Been here before to meet up with family who have a small dog and it’s a relaxed atmosphere, usually compounded by excellent friendly serviceUnfortunately on our visit Tuesday 24th October I felt as if our custom was more of a hindrance to themTwo members of staff and a pretty simple order one hot drink one cold drink and two cakesMy wife asked where the sugar was and was told I will do your sugar which isn’t great as it should be to the customers likingShe was then handed brown coffee sachets which my wife requested white coffeeThis was met with a deep breath from the staffWe won’t be back, we don’t expect the red carpet but a smile and a nice experience in a town struggling for customers would be the minimum anyone should expect especially with so many alternative coffee shops to choose from

This is one of tye worst experience I had in my life , which was full of discrimination.Yesterday On the 16th September 2023 I had unprofessional and bad experience at coffee 1 in 1 Canal Walk, Swindon SN1 1LD, town centre, I went to coffee 1 with my mate to have a coffee in the morning at 11:29am, then while I was taking my order from the cashier and try to ask the lady about the chai latte and other drinks, the lady was with black/brown short hair she was angry and give me bad manners,she was serving me with bad morales and anger, then after i paid i was annoyed and upset then i asked her are you in mood or something and why you are angry and serving me with bad manners, [then she answered well its very busy in the coffee shop today], then i told her well that it doesn't mean you have to put your anger on my and im a Customer here to to get good service and enjoy my coffee, [then she was arguing with me, (then her colleague which she was full of tattoo on her hands and arms she starts shouting at me and telling me you don't need to do this here), i replied to her "Excuse me well she is the one was serving me with anger and i was asking her to stop that and now you showing at me as well Defending her", then she was arguing with me as well and she told me well we are not serving you and you have to leave the shop, "i was very Surprised that she was asked me to leave the shop when i already orderedand paid, then i told her what i have done?and is that all because i asked the girl with short hair who ws working in the cashier to stop putting her anger and bad manner on me while she was serving me?", (then the lady with tattoo on she replied and said we are not serving you and your mate and you have to live) " i told her im not leaving and call me your manager because i want to make a complain",( then the lady with tattoo on she answered saying well im the manager and im not serving you and you have to leave", i was shocked that the lady with tattoo on she was the manger and she cancelled my order, then she asked me to put my card in so she can refund my money back, the manager was Defending her bad manners colleague and standing with her discriminate against me when i haven't done anything wrong and over that she Cancelled my order,she don't want to serve me and she asked me to leave, and this happened front of everyone in the shop while was full of customer and it was long queue of customers behind me which was absolutely embarrassing.this is absolutely unacceptable because this very clear discrimination and not fair at all, whe i went to coffee 1, i really thought they will be having a nice and professional service such as Starbucks And costa a coffee, but unfortunately the stuff who work at coffee 1they are racist, arrogant, unprofessional and they are full of discrimination.i haven't done anything wrong and i don't deserve to be treated badly like that, even my mate he haven't talked she asked both to leave.

I enjoyed a double espresso of the house blend (chocolate with hints of treacle I think, but correct me if I’m wrong!). Loved the aesthetics of the place (quotes and prints on the walls taken from famous works of literature). Would come back!
