Monica's Fish Bar is by far THE BEST. The fish is top quality! Service is always impeccableI highly recommend you to travel if you want really good fish and chips at reasonable price.

This has always been our default place to get fish & chips but this latest order was awful. It’s been closed for a few weeks so I don’t know whether it’s changed ownership but the delivery was over an hr late, food was cold and portions were significantly smaller than they used to be. Looks like we’ll be looking for a new chippy ☹️

I ordered a meal deal 6 (a small fish and chips), and I feel that the small label is a bit misleading, as the size is much bigger than I am expecting.Chips are always crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Fish has a crispy but not hard batter, with a soft, flaky white meat inside. I alternate between Tartar Sauce and Curry Sauce as an accompaniment, and the Curry Sauce is a very nice blend; not too sweet or spicy, a bit of a tang and a good consistency.Highly recommended. My go to for a Fish and Chips delivery. I can never fault it.

Food was really nice, warning large portion of chips is huge, next time me and my partner will share 1 large chips.

Great food but ridiculous wait times. 30-45 minutes wait numerous times for two standard meal orders.Better to drive further, you’ll save a lot of time

Disappointing service times. They priorities Uber eats and others before customers actually in the shop, so waiting times are pretty long.

Fantastic fish and chips. Very generous portions. When it's busy, you get a buzzer to tell you when your order is ready. This still works in the pub next door so you can go for a quick pint while you're waiting. What's not to like about that!

Decided to change chippy to help local businesses and spread the love (wealth)…. I wish I hadn’t. If you want yesterdays warmed up chips; hard, rubbery and tasteless chips and re-battered sausage - go for it. In times of hardship, local business must be kind to their locals to keep business flowing… clearly this business is desperate to provide a poor quality food to their locals and serve food that should be binned [I bet the food standards would have something to say about rehashing refried foods]. What I tried to eat was simply foul, yesterdays flat and tasteless food and well, my dog turned up her nose.Redhouse chip shop serve fresh regardless of time of day, I will be going back to there.1 star is generous!

Extremely dry oily cod, taste as reheated. Chips the same. One of the worst I've ever tried .And not cheap as well. All went into the bin. For sure I won't give a second chance. Interesting enough there are a lot of fantastic reviews, maybe I was there at the wrong time.
