I ordered a meal deal 6 (a small fish and chips), and I feel that the small label is a bit misleading, as the size is much bigger than I am expecting.Chips are always crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Fish has a crispy but not hard batter, with a soft, flaky white meat inside. I alternate between Tartar Sauce and Curry Sauce as an accompaniment, and the Curry Sauce is a very nice blend; not too sweet or spicy, a bit of a tang and a good consistency.Highly recommended....read full review
Fantastic fish and chips. Very generous portions. When it's busy, you get a buzzer to tell you when your order is ready. This still works in the pub next door so you can go for a quick pint while you're waiting. What's not to like about that!
I’ve just moved to the area and this is now my local chip shop. With the house needing a fair bit of work we’ve been having a lot of chips while we sort the kitchen… every time I’ve been in everything I’ve asked for has been cooked fresh, even if it’s just chips, and I’m happy to sit and wait because everything I’ve tried so far has been absolutely stunning!
