Stopped off for lunch on the way past and glad we did! Lovely baguette & club sandwich made fresh and great value. The pub itself is lovely with a wonderful wood burner for winter. Landlord was lovely and friendly too, we'll certainly be back in future.
We have visited the Tipple regularly but never before had a Sunday roast. we took the opportunity this weekend to have the roast and it was really good. The Quality of the cooking and the portion size was exactly what we needed . Big Portions and great Value for Money . worth every penny it is best to book .Dog Friendly as well although it is best to check before turning up so the you can make sure their is room in the correct area to eat with your dog.
