This pub is great! The food was quick, cheap and delicious, the drinks were the same, and service was very very friendly. The manager (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was lovely- she was very easy to talk to, and although this was only my second visit, she remembered a small detail I spoke to her about the night before, and was eager to make conversation about that with me again. Quality food. I've eaten here twice now and had the burger twice though with different topping - Burnt Ends OMG Amazing! Quantity. The food portions are perfect we left feeling nicely full and it was all so tasty. Value. We had a 20% off voucher which always helps us even if we hadn't the quality & quantity provided makes it excellent value. Friendly & Welcoming. It smells a nd feels like a "proper" pub. Stopped at this pub on the way to Wales and have to say we felt so welcomed and at home. Everyone was friendly and chatty and we felt like a local. Excellent value for money and very dog friendly. Would recommend if you want a good value for money pub with a great atmosphere.
