It was a very cold day when we visited. As soon as we entered the pub we were warmly greeted by both the landlord and the welcoming fire. We had a very good meal in a cosy and comfortable setting. We will certainly visit again.
Fantastic family meal, with our new 5 week old granddaughter. Friendly welcome, great classic food, generous portions, friendly service. Steak night, and would totally recommend. Thank you!

Perfect. 10/10. Mother's Day meal party of 6 with 3 Mums. Great, classic food presented beautifully, excellent service and lovely, clean, tastefully decorated traditional pub. Busy but comfortable. We try to visit at least once a year, as we don't live that close and have never had a bad experience here. The spend today included 3 courses for most of the group and drinks. Good value.
