“We had been doing some walking locally in Wyre Forest and decided to go for a meal, we had seen this pub on way so I initially tried to book a table whilst out and about - no luck, it kept telling me that the table I had chosen had just been got by someone else. After trying different times for about 10 mins I gave up and thought we would take a chance and pop in on way past. We got there and we really shouldn't have worried, loads of space! No idea what the website was doing.. !We ordered food fairly swiftly and it didn't take overly long for food to come out. A couple of the meals were a bit larger than expected, which with a growing apetite I think was a welcome surprise. Food quality was generally OK and service was OK too, although considering the lack of people in the pub it did on occasion take a bit of time to grab attention for another drink, or to get more sauce for kids etc.I think we were all happy to have stopped by for food and a drink, so it all worked out well in the end! Kids also got to have a short go on the play area at the back - but it was only a small area!”
