From the moment we phoned, to the moment we left, we were made to feel most welcome. The service was swift, the staff were attentive, and the food was excellent. This was at the time of severe flooding, with barriers up immediately outside, however this did not detract from the experience. There was also a great menu choice, and a roaring open fire which was most inviting. We look forward to going back!
Food was outstanding. Great selection of ales. When the waiter saw us struggling with the kids on what they wanted he offered other options not on the menu - the selection is great but the kids were being picky. Great service all the way.

Friendly staff to furry friends as well as two legged. Frodo got some tasty treats. Good range of foods as our group had a variety of diets. We really enjoyed chilling together in the heated conservatory.
