We visited the pub on New Years Day for lunch which was stunning. A very warm welcome and excellent service throughout, being very attentive and helpful. We skipped starters but our mains of Pork Belly (x2), Beef Pie and the Pigs In Blankets were all superb. I had the Pork Belly which was absolutely delicious. One of us had dessert as the others were too full which again was excellent. Good selection of real ales and wines to complement the meal. Would certainly visit again.

We popped in for a light lunch today Friday 29th December. We had the prawn wrap and the steak & cheese ciabatta, both served with fries & salad. The food was absolutely spot on and really tasty. Chips were crunchy & hot, the salad was fresh & included a variety of tasty leaves not just a boring green salad. Service was smiley and efficient & the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be back thank you.

Came in for Christmas lunch with the family, had the baked sweet potato. It was amazing, so soft and flavourful!

This traditional village inn is so much more. Roomy and inviting for lunch, with excellent food in great variety and good, friendly service. Well worth the trip we made out of Cheltenham, with its 300 alternative eateries. Can certainly recommend.

Had the traditional Christmas Turkey roast lunch. Very nice Turkey and lovely gravy but the veg was lacking. No brussel sprouts and no carrots. Two things I would have thought essential as it was a Christmas lunch and lastly no Yorkshire pudding. I also had the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious. Would I go back next year. Probably not.

13 of us went for a celebratory lunch. The food was prompt, hot and more importantly delicious! Most people had the Turkey, I had the lamb, which was gorgeous. Highly recommend.

What a find. Great food and a good selection of drinks. Best of all for those driving a beer, wine and spirits list of NON alcoholic drinks. Plus a non alcoholic Aperol spritz to die for . Great service , extensive food menu and lovely staff. A definite keeper for future lunch or evening meals. Pete and Margaret Dempsey.

Visited the Inn on one of the recent 2 for 1 promotions. It's fair to say that they excelled themselves with a superb meal (all four of us commented that it was fine dining at it's best), great and knowledgeable service and terrific atmosphere. A fantastic night.

We always go here for Sunday lunch each time we visit the Cotswolds and the staff are friendly and welcoming every time. Food is consistently good and they always make us and our dogs feel extremely welcome. Highly recommend but book in advance as it’s always busy!

Average village pub serves good food, nothing outstanding. Beers kept well. Gets busy on Sundays, but doesn’t feel like a Cotswold pub, it could be placed anywhere.
