I enjoyed staying here with my husband. We stayed for two nights - Saturday and a Sunday - we didn't opt in the breakfast (an additional £12 each), so can't comment on that but I can recommend the local faggots. They were really dense but still moist and tasty, my husband had the beef and plum pie, which he said he enjoyed.The room we had was quaint and the bathroom was a good size, the bed was a little small but we are used to a king, but it was comfortable tho. We popped in here for an evening meal on a weekend.It's a beautiful place and full of history. There are all sorts of memorabilia scattered about the place.It was pretty spacious in there and there were plenty of seats available. Seems we were just in time because it soon filled up.We stopped for an evening meal and we were not disappointed.

Nice traditional pub with good pub food; Chicken Chirizo is a nice choice if you are eating.In places the pub is looking a little tired the Internet is bad and the loos are not the best, but it is an old building, so have to give it a bit of a pass.Would recommend it though, staff are friendly and it has a nice atmosphere.
