Absolutely gorgeous little pub - especially now spring is coming! We met friends here and enjoyed a few drinks and a roast, it was casual yet the food was elevated but not complicated and portions generous. Service was professional, friendly and fast but completely faultless. Doggy treats were provided for our fluffy 5th guest! We all left very happy and full! ❤️Food & drinks: Highly recommend the Sunday roast

I visited the half way with 2 friends we booked the Sunday lunch, we are kind of foodys so it takes a banging roast to impress us, what can I say, the roast was 10 out of 10! So good we are still talking about it ..we will be back . I never write reviews but had to because the food was that good. Run don’t walk people you won’t be disappointed

Had another meal at the halfway today.We turned up with far to many children at their busiest time of year and they could not have been kinder or more accommodating.Rushing the children’s food out as fast as possible. Catering to all allergies and fussiness!Our meals were all delicious and the service is excellent.What a joyful day.Thank you guys. Merry Christmas

Underwhelming We were really looking forward to this experience. Upon entering it was seriously lacking an atmosphere, the menu choice was very limited on the main courses, no specials board and run out of fresh fish on a Saturday night.! However, the starter selection and quality was exceptional so we even considered having another starter instead of a main.! Wish we did… Given how limited the choice of mains, we were expecting something special or different but it didn’t happen. Overall disappointing given the ratings and earlier reviews. A very average experience at an above average price. Fortunately we are blessed with a choice of many other good restaurants in the area.
