We have been using miu miu for over 5 years, and never had any complaint However, we ordered 2 Singapore fried rice, curry sauce and a portion of chips last night and it was the worst we've ever had ,bland doesn't describe the food- it was absolutely awful ,no spice or flavour and half of the ingredients were missing, rice was heavy it looked and tasted like poor quality microwave rice - Best food was the chips !!!To add to our really disappointing experience, we both had upset stomachs during the night .Not returning custom again ,standard has definitely fallen below acceptable.

Gone downhill big time in the last 6 or so months. It's gone from my favourite Chinese around to bland and tasteless. Tried a few times recently in the hope it will pick up again. It hasn't.

Excellent food, with a good choice of menu. Will definitely return.

Well, give this place a dollop of nothingness on top of ripping you off. Quite simply the blandness Chinese I’ve experienced. Don’t order the starters and expect anything more than a splattering of seaweed that looks more than something you’d sneeze out. Truly awful. They don’t take card as they are love to avoid tax.

I tried this takeaway for the first time and was very impressed food tasted fresh and light with nice subtle flavours definitely not oily or salty. Look forward to returning in the future.

Been going to Mui Mui for years but tonight 26/08/23 the food was awful. Bang bang chicken bland no flavour and full of veg, 3 whole cherry tomatoes. Beef in black bean sauce-beef was raw, bland no flavour, tried to stir-fry it more at home the beef was rank. Fried rice no flavour, salt and pepper chips bland, some not cooked properly. Seaweed, no flavour and bland. Sesame prawn toast very bland no smell of prawn because there is no prawn just dipped eggs bread with sesame. The only thing that was good was the hot & sour soup and prawn crackers. Paid just over £36. Waste of money. Think they must have changed the chef as food used to be so nice. ? Very disappointed

One dimensional, greasy Chinese take away food. You can park outside and the waiting area is nice enough but nothing about the food would want to make me go back. Cash only.

This has been my go to Chinese for over 10 years but it appears that the chef has recently changed and the food tastes completely different.

Tried their food first time, I think it’s quite good. I like their salt chill chicken wings and Singapore noodles. The young Chinese guy at the counter is friendly and nice, he gave me free prawn cracker too. Good lad

Food was actually nice however both me and my partner have been non stop throwing up and had diarrhoea since food is too oily, Will not be ever ordering again. My advice - don’t bother as it has ruined our weekend, The counter Chinese man is very polite always smiling, give me free Prawn crackers.

Since the change in management, Miu Miu service has completely gone down hill, we have been regular customers every week for years, normally free prawn crackers on every order, women served us prev were so kind. Service not good at all I’m afraid! Actually quite rude every time we call to place an order!

I've been a customer for years. The food has always been excellent & staff always polite & welcoming. I have had two takeaways from here in the last few weeks & they were nothing like previous food I've had from here. Egg fried rice tasted like microwave rice, bright yellow with very little egg in. Chicken chow mein contained hardly any chicken, was bland & tasted like there were ingredients missing. Beef in black bean tasted burnt & ashy-not edible. What a shame this place has gone so down hill. The quality of the food is now way below standard & I wouldnt order again. Gutted as this was my favourite Chinese takeaway for the past 7/8 years. The man on the desk wasn't very polite but I would've put up with that if the food was good, but unfortunately not. :(

This takeaway shop earns £10,000-12,000 a week. We must stop supporting businesses that do not pay their full taxes. They only take cash. No taxes are paid. Hope someone relevant submits it.

Ordered the hors d'oeuvres for two and they they were pretty dire. The "seaweed ." Let me be clear: there was hardly any seaweed to be found. It was more like a sprinkle of wilted, lifeless strands disguised as a within the meatless bones . It was a pitiful excuse for seaweed. Miu Mui should be ashamed to even advertise such a minuscule portion of seaweed on their menu. Furthermore, the overall experience at Miu Mui was a lesson in managing expectations. Any anticipation I had was swiftly replaced with a sense of regret for choosing this place. If you're seeking a satisfying takeaway experience, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Within walking distance you will find far better.
