Just stopped by this place whilst travelling home and looking for a bite to eat on our way. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my husband had the bacon double cheeseburger, they were absolutely delicious!If youâre in the area, or if youâre just passing by then get yourself some food from this guy, you wonât be disappointed.
A good friend pointed me in the direction of âThe Old Weigh-bridgeâ with tales of delicious sandwiches, burgers and baguettes⌠and what I found was everything he had told me and more! As a chef myself I immediately recognised in Dave that spark of creative inspiration and drive to serve up joy in every bite. I recommended Food to go to cater for a friend ( Amanda) 60th Birthday and she was thrilled! guests all commented on how lovely the food was and there was plenty left for the next day! great job Dave/Caroline. One very happy Birthday Girl.
