Just visited for mothers day so they had a two course for £21 fixed price menu. The food was very good - the meat was cooked to perfection, gravy thick and flavourful and a good selection of veg. We didn't have starters but the puddings were very good too, especially the chocolate fudge cake. The servers were all very friendly and professional and they made sure they were accommodating to my vegan friens. This was such a nice visit whilst walking with friends. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, even with 2 Rottis (play date!). It’s a fantastic bar and staff all wanted to say Hi to the dogs! Doggie biscuits on the bar.We didn’t eat on this occasion but it looked amazing and the restaurant was very full of happy people so looking forward to a return visit to sample the menu.The outside seating is good too, plenty of it and some under cover. Dog water bowls all around.

Came out for family meal, carvery was delicious staff friendly and our waiter Callum went above and beyond to make sure we were all ok and had everything we needed. Thank you Callum ?
