Our first visit to this restaurant and won't be our last. Smart, comfortable surroundings; friendly, professional welcome. The menu has plenty of choice, we had a starter, main and one dessert. Everything was beautifully cooked and delicious, the waitress was competent and friendly. My husband said the crumble was the best he had ever eaten! We enjoyed a dinner here last weekend but what we hadn't realised is that this is an in house restaurant for a retirement home! The staff were very welcoming, the furnishings and settings very stylish and we enjoyed our meal. We were just conscious of being non-resident, especially as the neighbouring conversations seemed to be about medical ailments and powers of attorney, that's why the atmosphere wasn't what we hoped.
