Brilliant evening at The Red Lion. Very friendly pub, bartender Jon is amazing (he said to be sure to include this bit in the review). The homemade pizzas are stunning. This was a wonderful dinner stop after a long day of walking the Hills.
Lovely place, and fantastic service from the young barman on Tuesday evening 14th (believe your name was Jim but I'm useless at remembering so sorry if I'm wrong!) who provided much needed information about the area. Thank you so much and we look forward to being back soon. Your help is much appreciated.

Lovely Irish bar. I wasn’t sure when I walked in but the Irish boys made me feel more than welcome. Special mention to the landlord who had a weird eye but he was always looking at me. Making sure I was happy. Touched me in a way I’ve never been touched before. If I believed in god I think I met him.
