Whilst the burger is delicious it is overpriced for what it is. The portion of chips that comes with it is stingy considering the price they charge and how much it probably costs them to bulk buy frozen chips.

I had 'homemade ' vegetable soup it tasted like powder soup £6.95 ,my wife had a ham sandwich it was plastic ham not proper ham £8.45 .it seems that it was under new management. Not very

Had breakfast and was disappointed, I had a full English and the scrambled eggs have no taste at all and are oily the black pudding tasted more like a haggis with the amount of spice in itPartner had the Eggs Royale and the 2 eggs were undercooked with runny whites when you cut into the eggsStaff felt like they were more interested in having conversations with each other than serving customers, and a very odd way to get hot drinks then move to another counter to pay and then order hot food

Full English breakfast expensive and of poor quality , scrambled eggs were runny, bacon was more fat than anything else, fried tomato looked like it had been microwaved ,asked the waitress why the Quality was so poor said she would go and see the Chef , didn’t come back and say anything ,overall a very poor experience for a cafe in a garden centre wouldn’t recommend.

What a complete nightmare first get a table leave valuables while you go order your drinks then pay at the till for drinks and food then the festive menu which looks delicious but you cant help yourself so you get half on there you dont want and a portion size you cant eat as you only have a small appetite. No thank you cancelled my order. Wont return. Girls were apologetic not their fault its company pilicy to do this way.

Very expensive for a roast dinner served cold on a cold plate. Absolute bedlam ordering process especially to "help yourself" drink options. 3 cold roast dinners, 1 soup, 4 small soft drinks £68 and 2 meals were for my elderly parents!! Posh restaurant pricing set in a loud, clattering, disorganised, drafty cafe to be quite honest!

Big breakfast, fast friendly service. They are very generous with their portions. I ordered the country ham breakfast and it came with a whole slice of ham. Most places give only a half. My friend ordered the banana nut pancakes she loved them. She also likes crispy bacon and hers was cooked perfectly.

It’s been a few years since last here. Pot of tea for two, one chicken burger and ham/eggs/chips. Ham appeared to be processed. Service was swift.

Ordered two beef dinners on Sunday , cold veg and roast potato’s were rock hard . Won’t be going again , £3 for a small glass of sprite is a joke .

No sourdough toast sadly, but my poached eggs on gluten free toast were very good. Staff excellent.

I had fish and chips which wasn't the nicest and the peas came in a bowl full of water. My 2 friends both had chicken wraps and salad. The salad was just leaves and nothing else and they both said the wraps were disgusting and they looked it. Very dry chicken no taste and they were supposed to be flavoured. Wraps also dry. They left it all They complained and had a full refund and as it wasn't queried or offered something different we all think this is a regular thing.

We tried to have lunch here on a recent trip to the area and we had a small dog with us. There were no signs on the entrance to the restaurant stating dogs were only allowed in the outdoor area so we proceeded to find a table. We got settled and we’re looking at the menu when a rather rude member of staff came up and said I quote’ No dogs!!! They can go outside!!’ Her rude mannerism and lack of I’m so sorry, we have to keep the indoor seating dog free etc etc was extreme and she then stood and watched while we left! Her parting comment was a suggestion of eating elsewhere as they accept dogs so not even offering to find an outdoor table for us where we could sit comfortably and have a meal! We have eaten here before and the food is generally good. The staff are normally polite, friendly and welcoming however we certainly won’t be going there again! Personally I think the woman should be back of house and not customer facing although I pity the staff that have to work alongside!!!!

The prices are horrendous, they would be steep if everything was cooked fresh to order, but it’s not. £10 for a sorry looking prawn baguette sat in a refrigerator all day is scarcely believable. Don’t waste your money here.

Restaurant "ran out of hot food" by the time half of our party got to the till. The menu was then snatched rudely out of my husband's hand. The other half of the party said the food they were served was cold and stale and very overpriced! Not a fan!

Expensive for what it is, and poor quality. The egg and mayo and chives on bloomer was bland mush, without texture or flavour. And why on earth use "aruga" for what everyone knows as "rocket" unless you want to sound pretentious.
