We are local ish to the bridge, only across the river but a bit of a journey to get too.It was worth it. Finally a place that understands portion sizes.I had the beef bourguignon pie, served with veg and mash. Absolutely gorgeous.Followed with an apple crumble with a twist.....finally a place that understands a pudding shouldn't cost more than a main. This was a bargain at £6. I live in Essex Braintree area. Travelled 3 hours to see my favourite cousin in eveham. Many times spent lots of happy memories with my family. Yesturday phoned up and ask if they was serving food and was a very polite man answered. Well we arrived after 3 hours in the car and had a lovely welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Beautiful setting on the banks of the River Avon, menu is varied and good value for money. Great choice of beers, etc., pods outside for enjoyment by the river. The staff are very friendly and efficient..... great pub, great food!
