Recently stayed one night B&B. We were allocated the Wick Room - nice first impression, however we found that the bed was dreadful. Springs sticking out and no support at all. Following a very uncomfortable night, we were up early and ready for breakfast.....sadly, that was a great disappointment. I ordered the smashed avocado with poached eggs on ciabatta - the plate was cold, the eggs were luke warm and the smashed avocado was a mushy guacamole not fresh avocado. For a four star hotel, I would expect better and for breakfast, I was expecting a selection of say cereal, granola, fruit to select from whilst awaiting the 'hot' breakfast....but nothing. There was no member of staff present in the restaurant to speak to, so we could not raise any issues.

Lovely stop off for lunch in this historic beautiful building.Sausages and veg from their own farm and vegetables were so fresh .Great decor toilets spotless. So glad we stopped here.

Town centre, historic coaching Inn. The room we stayed in was on the small side. Service was patchy. The food was good, though if staying for more than a couple of nights, the choice might prove restrictive. Ales excellent.

Way below expectations considering the star rating and price paid. It's not a hotel in my view, it's a pub with rooms and I'd suggest it's a 3 star at that. - No signage to the car park and lots of "Private driveway signs" - Poor first impressions, driving through a alley with "Smoke here shed" and a building site. - Car park in the Garden. - Garden just a bit of grass and taken up by a half built (or broken down) marquee and food trucks - Not really a friendly welcome more of a "What do you want" welcome. - Not accessible lots of stairs and a "Call xxx for step free access" - "Harvester" type decoration, perhaps nice 10 years ago but hasn't aged well. - Limited amount of seats in the bar area, lots of space taken by "Private dining rooms" so felt very uninviting. - Waiter not overly friendly again "What do you want" attitude. - "Wick" room, again "Harvester" decoration. - One chair in a double room? - Can only watch TV on bed - One biscuit (One hot chocolate) in a double room. - No fridge - Strange walldrobe with no door and poorly made by DIY - Peeling wall paper and clearly very lazily decorated. - Can feel springs in mattress - Small room - Cable hanging down outside window - Rusty fittings in bathroom. - No peephole on the main door - No secondary lock or chain on the maindoor. - No menu in room - No menu on tables, asking for one staff replied with "Just get it yourself" - Uninspiring dinner menu, google suggest that's it's not changed in a long time. - Bar didn't fell safe and we had to return to the safety of our room. Midweek too it seems this place needs a barman. - Rooms not behind additional key locks so anyone from the street can walk to the rooms. - Tasteless unseasoned breakfast and only 1 member of staff working during the morning and what seemed to be lots of management taking up tables doing staff reviews. - We wasn't even sure we wanted to stay and glad to finally leave in the morning. Not recommended at all, Save your money and go elsewhere.

Always love staying here. The staff are excellent, the rooms well appointed and the food, from their own farm, is perfect. I’d recommend a stay here if in the area. Also check out the courtyard garden with its own bar area - a really nice space for relaxing.

After a few years of not going, because the previous experience was not great, we returned to try again. A triumph. Lunch was great, very tasty, and plentiful. We had 3 starters, and 3 main courses. The meat, and veg was all top notch. However, just a few things for Management to work on. : If you serve a cold starter, prawn cocktail, the bowl should be cold, not warm. The main course itself could have been a little warmer. The staff should know to replace cutlery between courses, and should serve spoons with condiments. But all in all, very pleasant, and we will return.

An unexpected visit to this centrally located venue which was a pleasure. Car park down a very narrow slip lane beside the building for patrons only was really fortuitous. The buildings are steeped with history and the walk from the carpark to the door of the hotel was an 'eyes everywhere experience'.Hotel was generously portioned for tables and chairs for guests with lots of little 'pla es with tables. Bar was a small affair but the staff managed well, were polite and helpful. I visited what is called the 'Gin room' for a private function. Again history oozed from every corner although disappointingly no written information. Understandable as this is a business and not a museum. Toilets clean and well presented.

We stayed at the Angel Inn for 4 nights from 14th to 18th August. The hotel is absolutely charming and rustic with lead light windows and exposed beams. The interior is warm and inviting and very clean. Centrally located on the main street of Pershore, right next door to post office and supermarket. We stayed in the Worcester suite, a huge room with queen bed and fold out sofa bed. The room was huge and well appointed with coffee machine and kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits, lots of storage and a massive bathroom with 2 sinks and large bath/shower. The only issue with the room was the mattress on the bed was like sleeping on a pile of rocks! I informed management, however no alternative was provided to me. On our last night it rained and the ceiling leaked on to the fold out bed where my friend was sleeping. Again management was informed. The food was amazing and ethically sourced, with most of it coming from their own farm. Breakfast every morning was fresh and superbly prepared. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Nathan and Sam for assisting us over the 4 days. I highly recommend The Angel Inn for your next stay in Worcestershire.

Grace, our server was great, chatty, friendly, understood everything and gave her all into her job. Very lovely experience.Food & drinks: Great selection of wines, beers and whiskey. Good selection of gin but not the right fruits to serve with them.

Staff are nice and polite and food is very high quality and fresh. Rooms are cosy and unique with a good view of the shops below. Just opposite is a very nice coffee shop called ‘Koffee and Cake’ and a park less than a 5min walk away. Not a lot for young kids but good for either solo or partnered travel. If in the area a must visit

I’m not familiar with places to eat in Pershore but booked The Angel for dinner with a friend and I’m so pleased I did. The food, atmosphere and service was spot on. The whole place has a warm, cosy vibe to it. Shall definitely be booking dinner here again.

I stayed at the Angel Inn from August the second to the twelfth. I was visiting my then girlfriend and the Angel and her employees were very helpful with arranging the room, food, etc.The Hotel itself was nothing short of lovely, the rooms were clean and room-service cleaned them once per day with some serious dedication. The Hotel was also very close to the Avon river and surrounding forested areas, which provided a fresh breeze in the morning, aside from the fantastic view of course.I am going to seriously miss these people and the location. While I doubt that I will ever return, if I were to, I would once again choose the Angel.Rooms: A bit on the smaller side, but very lovely. Rooms were pretty quiet during the night and not to hot.Food & drinks: The Angel offered some on-house food such as English Breakfast, Coffee and if I remember correctly, cake aswell. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

We had dinner here before going to the local theatre across the street. The pub was at a good location and atmosphere inside was good (clean, typical gastro pub-type atmosphere). Unfortunately, we were let down by the food and the service was only so-so. Vegetarian options were limited, unimaginative and were over-priced for what was on offer. We settled on falafel burgers which were dry and pretty boring. (The fries were great, though.) The service could have been better. Friendly and initially good on arrival, but fell down after this. After having our plates cleared, we sat waiting for the check or for wait staff to even come back so we could ask for the check, so we eventually went and waited at the bar to pay. We wouldn’t eat here again.
