Yesterday was the first time I used the Chequers and it was gorgeous! Brought my girlfriend on a date here and we had a burger each. It was delicious! Great food and great service. Thoroughly enjoyed eating this alongside my HPA, fantastic! Will definitely be coming back.

We had a wake today at this pub for my wife's mum. We went with the £12 per head option for a buffet for 40 people. It was excellent with plenty of sandwiches, sausage rolls, pork pies, mini savoury eggs, salad, quiche, mini sausages, cakes, scones and limitless coffee and tea.The staff were highly attentive and the pub had a lovely atmosphere set in a pretty village.Couldn't fault this.
