I was pretty disappointed with the brunch club at the star. Firstly it was £2.50 for tea so I expected a nice pot of a good quality tea. Instead I was served an ordinary Yorkshire tea bag in a half filled glass mug which tasted stewed as the water was not very hot. They did replace with a full mug at least. Then I ordered the halloumi loaded eggs which were disappointing. I couldn’t see the avo and the whole plate looked incredibly beige with tiny pieces of halloumi and a piece of toast on the side . With so many gorgeous brunch places nearby I won’t be coming again. I shall stick with Toast in Flyford or the Twisted Spoon

I arrived on a Tuesday so the kitchen wasn't working so can't share that part . On arrival the stairway and passage to the rooms is painted very dark . So a little off putting , however the room was very nice . Quite spacious you have somewhere to hang your clothes albeit only 3 hangers . There are also drawers available. The Ensuite bathroom was very nice , looks like the rooms have recently been refreshed . The bed was very comfortable, my only critism was the pillows , they are flat and are desperately in need of being renewed . That led to not sleeping wellPlenty of Tea coffee etc which is also refreshing .. .Overall stay was OK and communication prior to arrival was very good

Lovely host's and atmosphere, we didn't try the food so can't comment , very dog friendly, we would definitely return and maybe try the food which looked great.

Forget previous reviews. New licence holder and team. Now family run. Great new menu. The pork belly chips, stunning! Love the tapas style small plates too. Was always a lovely location but future looks really bright. We will be back with others (and a dog or 2!)

Pub is nice and food and drink too.Parking: Watch out for the company sub contacted to manage the parking arrangement. If you don't enter your reg at the bar - no one will ask you to - you will start receiving letters from Debt Recovery Plus and the fine will rise regardless whether or not you appeal and you will get letters saying the fine for using this free car park is £170.00.

I went here with a friend for lunch. We used their car park and there is plenty of signage to tell you to register your car number at the bar, otherwise you will be charged. The young lady serving was delightful, very friendly and helpful. We had the sandwiches with chips. The food was really good and the chips were some of the best I have tasted. The prices were very reasonable . This pub is nothing fancy but nice and traditional, just what I like. I will go again when passing through Pershore.

To start off with only half the menu (first page) on their website was available- didn’t bother to ask why. Ordered fish and chips- the chips were lovely. However the fish ? Where was it - lots of batter and only a little dry flavourless fish - I’ve had much better cooked fish from a seafood stall in a supermarket car park. Not sure if the chef was off - but standard of food not as depicted on their website.

First time here! Very friendly pub, reasonably priced, good menu food well cooked. No problems at all with free parking at the back through the arch. Just key your car registration on the iPad on the bar. Simple!!Parking: See main comment above! It’s good!

The Sunday lunch is generally great at The Star, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The meat with the roast dinner was sadly chewy this time. The vegetables were still good and gravy tasty.

The owner Bruce was so friendly and nice. Rooms were excellent and food was amazing. I recommend it to all with a warm heart ?

The Three of Us

Excellent food.Very long time wait even though there were only three of us there...over an hour, and had to be prompted. The food was first class though and worth the wait.
