Speed the Plough is a fantastic local country pub with a great atmosphere and lovely service. The pub offers a wide selection of drinks, including 18 different draught beers, ciders, and continental lagers. While the kitchen was closed on one visit, a friendly local recommended an alternative and even provided a ride to ensure the guests could enjoy an evening meal. The pub also hosts regular events, such as a karaoke evening by the DUKEBOX BOYZ, which was described as a very enjoyable experience in a nice, clean village pub setting with ample parking.
