Great mix of old favourites plus unique dishes.All really savoury and made with fresh ingredients. Will definitely return. Nice modern space and friendly staff. The chicken livers were amazing as was the gunpowder chicken.
Lamb madras was cooked perfectly, naan was great.Waiting on staff left you alone to enjoy the meal.The restaurant looks very different to how it was previously. It's now very clean looking, which is great but its almost clinical tbh.Personally I think it would be good to have it feeling a little more like an Indian restaurant, can't say I have ever been one that played modern music either, not sure I like that either. Come for the onion bhaji, stay for the whole menu! The best Indian in Ampthill right now. The owners hold a world record for the largest ever bhaji (it fed 1,000 people!) Which is far from a gimmick - their menu bhajis are superb, if a touch smaller than the record breaker! Nice decor, friendly staff and excellent meals.
