Went here for lunch with friends. Excellent, friendly service. Food was good. It was a quiet lunchtime, so there was not much atmosphere. They shut at 3 on weekdays, so we didn't feel we could llinger too long at the table.
I came here with my family. We had Anchor House Sharer first. Buffalo cauliflower bites were my favourite! I then had Chicken and mushroom stroganoff while others chose roast partridge. I really liked the chick stroganoff with rice. It was flavoursome. For puddings, their cheesecake was amazing ?

Stopped off for dinner on the 17/02/224The chicken starter was delicious. The peppered beef stew was lovely . However I think their spicy stew is my favourite.For desert I tried the strawberry mouse & Prosecco .
