Fast & Friendly service. Not huge menu but good selection of traditional cafe type food. I had a bacon burger with fries & was tasty/well cooked. Prices are reasonable for a cafe of this type. Bit stingy with the fries (a common complaint of mine!) but otherwise very happy with my experience here. Not many cafes like this in Central Bedford Town centre (well I couldn't find any others), so very glad for the River Cafe to be here! This cafe is next to Nandos and opposite the market. Most times I go, it's almost empty which is a surprise because their bacon baguettes (actually I think they're Ciabattas) are wonderful and they serve nice tea as well. The people who work there are all very friendly so on the whole it's somewhere I enjoy, and it's such good value for money

I usually go in river cafe with my partnerThe food was good and tasty the pannie could of been a bit more hotter inside,but honestly didn't bother me too much the staff is okay as well the prices are reasonable in the place. ?✌?
