Went with my Grandson yesterday to have lunch. He had the chicken nugget meal. The nuggets were ok, but the chips were dreadful and the waitress didn't bring the baked beans until he had nearly finished! My scrambled eggs and toast were inedible, the eggs were rubbery and the toast was dry. I only had one mouthful. It was a cold morning and I had to do airings in the Town. On my way back home I popped in to Morrisons for their fair price decent breakfast and a nice cup of tea. The restaurant was not busy at all maybe 7 people eating at the time I arrived. I haven’t been to this Morrisons café before normally eat at the ST Albans one. So I wasn’t sure. We went in hoping for a bit of lunch. Were told all food was off except foe egg on toast and someone had locked the old lady serving out of the till so she couldn't even take money for bottled drinks! The place needs putting out of its misery!
