I’ve always loved my local Wetherspoons here in Leighton. It feels like an old fashioned independent pub despite it being part of a chain. There are a lot of places you can sit here including bar side, tucked at the back by the windows, by the front door or outside if it’s warm enough.As for drinks, you wont find a lovely cask pint of doom bar for £1.99 anywhere else that tastes this good. Assisted by an amazing manager, Mrs Hazel Gill. I have special needs, physically and mentally. Mrs Gill made sure I received the best service and assistance and even checked on me when I was struggling with my mobility, and was stuck in the disabled lavatory for some time due to seized joints. Lovely old coaching inn, back to being a hotel at last.Owned by Wetherspoon so good value food and drink. Nice atmosphere, and in the high street of a nice market town Leighton Buzzard. Can get crowded, log fire in the winter so cozy in the front room. I go there regularly.
