My mother in law (God rest her soul) made the best Sunday roast I've ever tasted, until I ate the three meat Sunday roast at the Sugar Loaf this weekend! What can I say?? Phenomenal! Perfectly cooked meat, generous portions, quality vegetables, the stuffing loaf was just superb! Extra roasties and gravy, pigs in blankets, all the sauces, including fresh apple sauce! Well done to the new landlord, Doug and his crew! You're doing a tremendous job!!
Lovely little Village pub. We went to a Baby Shower held at this venue. It was really nice day. I could imagine what it would be like in the summer they have a great outside dining area.

Best Sunday dinner we’ve had for a long time, probably the best ever in a pub. Excellent service, friendly staff and the new owner will make changes for the better. Looking forward to more improvements in the near future.
