We were there for a friend’s birthday lunch. Everything was excellent.
The freshly baked cheese bread served with homemade whipped marmite butter set the stage for this symphony of culinary delights we were about to eat.
The winning starter on our table were the tempura cod cheeks. A truly brilliant dish, cooked and played to perfection.
The pork and blue cheese pancetta were great too, unfortunately the gnocchi was too sweet.
The main course winner was the ox cheek. Again, the flavour profile was divine as was the texture of the Ox cheek. Three of us had the fish and it was another triumph.
The resounding winner at dessert time was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Gold stars all round from the table as for the banoffee cheesecake. Apparently the milk chocolate and praline bar was lovely but too rich.
I love this restaurant. The food, staff and setting are wonderful. I cannot wait to go again.

Belvedere Arms
London Rd, Sunninghill, AscotHad Christmas Lunch at the Belvedere on the 25th which was totally amazing, fantastic food & service. Possibly the best Christmas lunch we have ever had.\nTo top it all, we decided to spend New Years Eve with them again last night.\nOnce again, out of this world with food, service and live music.\nSo lucky to have the Belvedere on our doorstep.

The Duke Sunninghill
2 Upper Village Rd, Sunninghill, AscotWe all had such a lovely time for my brothers 30th, all the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. We also bought our puppy with us and that was no trouble, in fact the staff looked after her and made her feel really comfortable. All the party really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, thank you again!

Cheapside Rd, AscotThe place is beautiful and has been kept the same as it would have been hundreds of years ago, very cosy. Although expensive, the food was delicious and although at first seems a bit basic, is done to the highest quality and will leave you very happy.

Coffee was 5 stars. My only complaint is the is no atmosphere, no vibes. Desperately needs some background music. It was so quiet in there even though the tables were 80% full. Please play music

I ordered Tom Yam vermicelli, such an awesome bowl of lightly spiced broth with soft king prawns and a plethora of vermicelli.

18 High St, Sunninghill, AscotWe went here on Thursday 16th October 2025 and it was absolutely amazing. \nStaff were very friendly and helpful. \nFood was out of this world. \nOn busy days they have a 6pm and 8pm sitting so you only get two hours but that is plenty of time for us as service was so good. \nI ? recommend this restaurant. \nLoved it so much but today is Thursday and we have rebooked for Saturday. ( Two days later to take friends ) \nGo you won't regret it.

Will likely return. 1 star deducted however for serving burgers and chips in single use polystyrene cartons when dining in and no recycling option for cans.
