St a time when restaurants are cutting back on size and quality of meat cuts, our duck and pork were generous and plentiful. The 3 course set menu had lots of choice and great value. The Duke Sunninghill
2 Upper Village Rd, Sunninghill, AscotWe all had such a lovely time for my brothers 30th, all the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. We also bought our puppy with us and that was no trouble, in fact the staff looked after her and made her feel really comfortable. All the party really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, thank you again!

Cheapside Rd, AscotWent out for dinner with friends never been here before but was recommended to try!! As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was friendly. The staff went out our way to explain all the dishes that we asked about. You could watch the chefs cooking and preparing at the pass and Charlie, one of the chefs was super friendly and helped me choose my pudding. Fabulous evening great food will definitely going back soon again.!!!!

23 Silwood Rd, AscotThis evening 13th May 2023 I ordered my food after a long day in Essex at a football tournament. As always the fish and chips were well cooked, tasty and delicious. The tall young blonde man who served me was exceptionally warm and friendly. He gave me such a warm welcome with his friendliness, attention to detail and customer care. A true asset to this already excellent fish and chip shop!Thank you young man. ?

29 Brockenhurst Rd, AscotHappened upon this place after a game of golf with the intention of just having a drink. I live in Bagshot and haven’t had a good curry since my our regular place in Frimley recently closed. So this was a complete surprise. The guys at the bar were very polite and knew about the menu and happy to describe it. I ordered a chicken jalfrazi with mushroom side dishand a biryani for my wife. Absolutely delicious, so glad I’ve found a good curry at last…in a pub…! Thanks guys ?

72 High St, AscotWhat a fabulous place this is! We turned up last night, a Friday, at around 8.30 without a booking. It was jam packed but managed to acquire the last table for 2. Received the warmest welcome. Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered the calamari starter which arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the King Prawn Spaghetti and I had the Pizza Carne. Both were absolutely gorgeous ?! The pizza base was crispy with loads of meat toppings and the butterflied prawns were succulent and plentiful. The wine selection was excellent as was the coffee. At just over £35 a head it was well worth the money. Such a wonderful atmosphere! Can't wait to return!!

It consists of a small cosy pub at the side, a larger French based restaurant on the other side, and a lovely tiered garden at the back.
It's has a warm cosy atmosphere.
All of the staff were efficient, friendly, and quick to serve people.
We didn't eat but the food looked really good.
We hadn't been for a while but will be soon as it has such a lovely atmosphere.
Nick, the manager, is so friendly, professional, and clearly loves what he does.
It's such a brilliant pub.
There is a car park too.
It's also very dog friendly.

Costa Coffee Sunningdale
57-59 Chobham Rd, Sunningdale, AscotFriendly staff, plenty of seating and an overall nice atmosphere. It's a nice place to come and get some work done, although the music can be quite loud at times.
The coffee and food is always served fresh and tasty. It's definitely one of the better Costas that I've visited.
Parking: A few free parking spaces right outside (roughly 10 spaces). The maximum stay is 1 hour on weekdays 8am-5pm.
Wheelchair accessibility: The door has a button to push in order to open it automatically.

Coffee was 5 stars. My only complaint is the is no atmosphere, no vibes. Desperately needs some background music. It was so quiet in there even though the tables were 80% full. Please play music

Service was slow and not very thoughtful or anticipatory: e. g. when water for the table was asked for, only one glass of water was brought.
Atmosphere was fine: the place was quiet when we visited at 7pm on a Tuesday. Decor is nice and understated.
Definitely worth a visit.

The only downside was that it was extremely loud (could have just been the crowd for the evening), so it made conversation more difficult (although... this could be age related deafness perhaps??)

Will likely return. 1 star deducted however for serving burgers and chips in single use polystyrene cartons when dining in and no recycling option for cans.
