2 Castle Ln, Donnington, NewburyWe recently visited this pub to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday, and I honestly can’t thank the team enough. My mother has had a difficult year with her health, and the staff went above and beyond to make the day truly special for her.
They were incredibly accommodating to her needs—nothing was too much trouble—and the level of care and kindness shown meant so much to us as a family. The service throughout was excellent: warm, attentive, and genuine.
The food was also lovely and made the occasion even more enjoyable. Everything came together perfectly, and it turned into a celebration we’ll always remember.
