We had a great experience here with the food and the service was fine too. We joined our friends who live in Newbury, and had recommended it to us. We will be back in December and will come again.

We arrived to be made very welcome by the staff. Nothing was too much. We had a fantastic lunch. Soup of the day, local Venison Burger which was beautiful. Everything was served hot, and we couldn't have asked for more. Gluten Free was well catered for, and offered the same menu. Clearly cooked on demand, and very fresh. Three of us popped in for lunch.Lovely location with the river Lambourn running past the seating area at the rear of the building. The building has a lot of character inside and out. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice diverse menu. Our only gripe really was that my wife's Fish and Chips were cooked well, but there was only half a piece of Fish!
