Wow!My wife and I were quite anxious about going to a pub who's never done food during our 5 yesrs in Maidenhead.I had Steak Pie & chips and my wife had a panini and chips. It was excellent! Today we went for a Sunday roast and I was expecting it to be "okay", but it was quite possibly the best roast I've had in a long time! The best little drinking hole in Cox green. It's clearly a local favourite with a broad age group. Good music and a great place for sports fans. Staff are friendly and the patrons too. Additionally thete is a dart board and a place outside to have a drink. Lovely garden to the rear.

Nipped in for a quick beer after spending a day planting trees at the nearby Ockwell Park. A very warm welcome and a lovely pint of Atlantic ale. Very nice traditional pub. Will return to try the food.
