I've stayed in Maidenhead a couple of times; and the second time I discovered the Vine. It was like finding my local. I walked in; and everyone was friendly, entertaining, and a bit bonkers. It was a Sunday, but they had a DJ on, and karaoke broke out now and then. But the pub was unceremonious. The landlord and lady Eddy and Tracey were excellent hosts--very tolerant--and they kept the bar open surprisingly and pleasingly late. By far the best cider we’ve ever tasted! Lovely pub with a gorgeous landlady behind the bar. Drinks are the usual pub variety with a good selection of alcohol free options too. They also have a discounted selection up until 10pm It’s not as cheap as a spoons but this does also ensure that the bars not overrun with teens who can’t handle their drink
