Fast Service, Friendly Staff, good quality food of a consistent quality. Good variety on the menu with decent price. Good access to Parking, extremely local. Only problem is you cannot with a card.
I've been to every fish and chip takeaway except one in Reading and this is fine. It's perhaps the most expesive by ~20% and the fish was probably the greasiest (a lot of oil pooled on the plate). Mushy peas were fine and given complimentary prawn crackers! Will try the other place next time. Queue wasn't as long as the other place. In addition to chips and fish, this chip shop in Reading also offers Chinese food. If you pay over 20, you will get free prawn crackers, and if you pay over 50, you will get 1.25L drink and prawn crackers. As far as I know, everything is expensive in today's economy.
