Best chinese in reading! Tried different places but none have topped hong kong city yet.Good Portions, flavourful food. Tried Mixed meat in black bean sauce and yummmmm!!! Sweetcorn and chicken soup is how it should be done, chicken balls are tasty - crispy and the batter hugs the meat, very well made and not greasy! Duck 10/10.. Today we ordered take away from Hongkong city restaurant. This is our second visit. This is the best Chinese I have ever had in Reading and surrounding area. The quantity is really good. Please remember to carry cash as they accept cash only.

We've been ordering here for 3+ years. Yet to be let down. There is nothing oily or cut corners about the kitchen. Excellent quality and they make small adjustments for us, too. Kind, quick, delicious, and never greasy. The veg in any dish is super. Light tough and just lovely. If hungover they the prawn or chicken balls with dip.
