I was surprised at the dullness of the cooking. The garlic bread was fab and freshly cooked, but the main courses had almost definitely been cooked earlier and reheated. The puddings were bought in and were Waitrose/M&S standard but that's all. The special of Dover sole was a disappointment and much more expensive than we expected (no price given on wall, and I should have asked the price I suppose). Not best experience. Hadn't been since before covid & has gone down hill. Had to ask for clean knife & served green tea at the end with a chipped cup so had to ask for new one. Food ok but had better.Service was good.Decor very tired & needs an overhaul.Parking: It's underneath mulitistorey as part of shopping mall
Having visited in the past and had some amazing food in a vibrant restaurant we turned up at 2030 to an empty establishment bar 1 couple. No background music (not a fan normally) but the silence was deafening! The food was actually quite nice although far too much sauce on king prawns. A mix up in orders which didn’t help. Then as we were eating our starters we were asked if we wanted mains (already ordered) said in 10 mins time suddenly they appeared having already been cooked...read full review
