Bit strange during the refit where the tables are in a temporary area, but the food is absolutely OUTSTANDING! I adore this food, the wonderful flavours and the staff are just fabulous.
Bustling atmosphere, one of the few “traditional” curry houses left in central Reading though still a Dhansak desert… Capable staff and a good vegan section: I enjoyed the Bhindi Dopiaza with Roti though my friend found his 3 chilli ?️ ?️ ?️ meat dish a bit spicy. Cobra or Kingfisher on draught. Could do with a lime pickle with pappadams. But overall a decent central curry house (done renovation ongoing until 10 Feb).

Probably the best "curry" restaurant in reading. Never had a meal that wasnt top rate. Be aware that you wont get typical things like madras here. The food is more traditional. But there are a number of spicy dishes if that's what you like.
